Lamentations 3:39-40

We’re still alive! We shouldn’t complain when we are being punished for our sins. Instead, we should think about the way we are living, and turn back to the Lord.

Holy God, I thank you for this verse. It shows that we should be thankful in the ups and downs of our lives because after all we are still alive. Problems and negative situations are not a reason to blame and complain to God. We should understand that every beat of your heart is about the grace of God. If you could fully understand that sentence, I believe that in everything you do you will honor the Lord our God. Before anything else, have you tried to ask yourself that: ” Am I living the way that God wants me to be?” It may be the reason why you are suffering and being punished. The way we are living should be in accordance to the will of God because you and I knows that living the way of God is the most worthwhile to spend the rest of your life. Turn back to God! It’s never too late until He comes, He’s waiting for you.
